My fave Mexican spot out here to sit down and eat! Margaritas are so good & will have you laughingggg lol if you know what I mean! Always a good vibe and the food’s always plentiful.

Host was able to multi-task and seat me as soon as I walked in, while on the phone, I'm guessing with a customer, not sure. Friendly, patient service. Large portions. Reasonably priced for what we had. Amazing white cheese!! I had the taco salad with shredded chicken and couldn't even finish it, it was that big! Husband had 2 chicken tacos. Large water glasses. Chips and salsa. Nice place.

Not bad food for the price. Plus they get our food to us super quick.

I love this place so much.....i habe to have it every time I come to visit...and take a to go plate so I can bring it on the plane to Phoenix,az.....i need a bath of there salsa also

The best mexican food

Best Mexican restaurant in town by far. I have grown up eating here! Family tradition of going every Sunday. The service is consistently fast and the food is amazing. Portions are very large, you are guaranteed leftovers. My favorite dish is the Chicken Chimichanga.

My absolute favorite Mexican in C-U! Have been going since I was a kid. Friendly atmosphere, big portions, reasonable prices, friendly wait staff. A great place to go! The owner is one of the sweetest people I've ever met he genuinely cares about others.

Out for dinner I have never been to this place. I ordered a shrimp dinner with rice the shrimp was delicious the rice had a good flavor but it was dry. My wife had a stuffed pepper she liked. I would go back. The staff was pleasant and friendly.

The food/service was excellent.

As this was my first visit, I got my Mexican initiation mean; which is essentially a Speedy Gonzales almost everywhere. This was preempted by chips and two different salsas. One was essentially pureed tomatoes, The other more Pico but a little smokey and delicious. Taco was spilling over onto it's seperate plate, and enchilada was massive compared to traditional offerings. Chicken was interesting, but good. Beef was the perfect amount of drained to not destroy your hard shell taco eating experience, and flavorful. I'm trying to get looser with my 5 star rating nominations. Perhaps a second enjoyable visit with a more varied meal will get us there. Love the interior and large pics.

Wonderful tasting food. Salsa and chips offer at no cost were the best we had experienced in quite some time. Extremely large portions but priced very reasonably.

Not so bad if you like the Mexican cuisine, but the food is really not healthy. From the other hand, the portions are enormous and the prices are pretty low.

Very tasty food. One of my favorite places to get Mexican in all of Central Illinois. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best authentic Mexican food I have ever eaten and I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants all over the Midwest. Very very good Tacos Fajita (pictured but we were outside so coloring may be off a bit) Start off with endless chips and two types of salsa that were amazing. My husband had the Burrito Fajita and was equally as pleased. HUGE amount of food with very good service!! If you haven’t been here you are missing it.

Second time we've been here, quick and good service. Quality is decent but really depends on what you order. I had the shrimp salad -- delicious! Generous portion of shrimp, grilled & seasoned perfectly, complimented by mixed greens, tomato, squash & onions (held the peppers). Husband, in the other hand, had the steak quesadilla and said it was a bit soggy and not too flavorful. Girls enjoyed their popcorn shrimp (big portion for a kids meal), hot dog (interesting in how wrapped in a tortilla, deep fried & drizzled with cheese sauce). Mac & cheese meal was pretty basic. Tortilla chips and salsa options were tasty.

Service was amazing. Salvador took care of me, but everyone there was friendly and attentive. Food was very good, I ordered the chef's special which has ribeye, refried beans, cheese, rice, guacamole, Pico, and sour cream and tortillas to put it all on. Also ordered the cheese dip which is so good I had to put some on my tortillas.They also had a nice selection of vegetarian options.

The atmosphere isn't the greatest but the food is amazing. It's very reasonably priced and it's always really fast. The staff is generally pretty nice and accommodating as well. Definitely give them a shot.

Today for lunch I had Dos , and I do have to say our server was AMAZING & super quick while Managing to also serve many other tables in our area. The food was good as always and I was very pleased with my visit.

Typical American Mexican restaurant. No problems. Service was very good. It was fast, friendly and professional. The food we got was good it was hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean. They also have a nice outdoor seating area.

Got a to go order. Food was done when I got there 20 min later. Tasted great and the portions were huge. Could have easily shared with another person

Flavor is great! I just don't like gristle and fat in my tacos. That's my only critique. But I do plan on coming back maybe ordering chicken instead of steak next time

Yum! It has been 15+ years since I had visited Dos and I wasn't sure it was going to taste as good as I remembered. I am happy to report it actually tastes better! Thanks for a great family friendly meal!

We go there every Friday evening and we share a big margarita and a main dish. Yum!! Their offered chips are crazily delicious. They also have a secret special must-try - the the fried cheesecake from the desert menu. You will love it.

My wife and I came here for lunch based on the 4 + Point rating. We were very disappointed. The service was excellent but the guacamole was suspiciously lacking in avocado flavor and unseasoned. Similarly, the margarita must have come straight out of a bottle and lacked any real flavor. Having eaten Mexican food in Champaign many times, I would recommend you eat elsewhere.

The food is okay. It is not the best by FAR. Very bland. Seasoned beef is not very seasoned. Even a little salt would make a huge improvement, and I don't care much for salt. It is truly 3 star quality food. The waiters and waitresses will NOT allow ANY deviations or substitutions from menu. They were very assertive about not allowing me to add rice. I could only have rice or beans - not both! The manager even used a different menu selection than mine to explain how substitutions are not allowed with it either. Very, very odd. Didn't even give me the option to pay extra. Then I tasted the rice on my wife's plate. It was not good. I got rid of my hunger but it was a purely utilitarian experience. I won't be back. Too many other "Mexican" restaurants to visit.

Burrito bravo is the best burrito I've ever had! Horchata is great too! Great staff great service!
